My agent Mike is very professional in representing us as the buyer even our purchase is a very low-price property. The most impressive part was he explained to us with a map about the flood risk in the area. He does know the area well. That is the part my previous agent didn't understand at all. He would propose rejecting the proposal from the other side if he thinks unreasonable, not just thinking to close the deal ASAP. Overall, very please of working with Mike.

My husband and I used Mike Hickey in 2015 to sell our house in Durham and to buy a new house. The selling of our house in Durham went smoothly. The house was only on the market for a few days before going under contract. However, We were a bit unsure of where exactly we wanted to live, so Mike showed us houses anywhere from Apex to Cary, and all the way up in to Hillsborough. We even extended out to Mebane for a few days. Mike was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the buying and selling process, and also, very patient with us as his clients. We are definitely not the easiest people to work with, and he kept very professional the whole time. He is very knowledgeable about the Triangle area and has been in the real estate business for a long time. His recommendations were great from mortgage lender to inspector, I had a good experience with all of these. When it came down to negotiating during offer time, I thought his negotiation recommendations were very reasonable and things went very smoothly. Moreover, offers had to be in on a Sunday afternoon on a holiday weekend and Mike was there calling me on a Sunday negotiating on my behalf with the seller's agent..
